Got my new one today and it charges really slow on my IPhone 13 pro max. It’s not my adaptor since my older version Magez charger still works and charges 2-3 times faster.

I will test it out more today before I contact It does odd things when I first put iPhone on it. Makes a loud click then the charge indicator shows up on screen phone at 90% sat for ½ hour then was only at 92%.
My other would have been almost done charging with same things running. My adaptor is able to charge 20 watts and tested it almost does 20 watts on ipad.

well turns out it’s my fault i did not see the little note at bottom only supports 7.5 watts iphone. Though the Iphone 13 pro max supports 20 watts fast charge and does charge at about 20 watts with apple magsafe I have a desk MagSafe and tested and amperas 4 app about 19.85 watts. The older magez tested 9.75 ish this new version is only 7.75 ish. So driving with gps long trips will in fact wear down battery faster and cause long temp damage to battery health. MagSafe running on my older phone battery health is at 98% after 1 year. Other non magsafe wear battery health faster as they take longer to charge and heats up Iphones longer. longer heat build up = bad battery health. Others have tested iPhone 13 and can charge at 27 watts… I will be returning it. look it up and see.

I got the MagEZ Car Mount Pro last week for my iPhone Pro 13. It arrived safely packaged. Getting it out of the package was not so easy, because of under pressure building up while pulling the cover. But overall very well designed package. Installation was a fluke. It was easier than with the last generation model and the grip is much more stable and better adjustable.

The cable has a very good quality and the length fitted ideally. The iPhone has a very strong connection to the mount via magnets. In comparison to the last generation it is automatically positioned into the same position every time it is connected. The magnets are also a lot stronger.

So over all the case and the mount is an excellent combination which I can recommend.

What size is the ball mount that is used to connect to the different mounting options?

Hi there, the diameter of the ball is 17mm, if it is the information that you want.
May I know which car mount you are using?
I’m not sure if this part is avalible in the market.

Today I received a new holder.
I found out that Pitaka has changed, the size of the “ball” cannot be attached to the original adhesive holder from the previous version of the stand.
The previous Pitaka holder had such a small adhesive holder and does not fit the new holder - changing the size of the ball.

Hi there, yeah, the ball for car vent base has changed. But that for suction cup base remains the same.

I didn’t mean a suction cup as a holder but the one that was in the holder series before it and with 3M tape

My car has round vents that are adjustable - so when I install the “MagEZ Car Mount Pro” in the vent, it flops around. The mount looks to be of great quality, but I do not think i will use it unless I can figure out a way to stablize the vent.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback. Did you fasten the hook onto the air vent grill and secure it by turning the lock clockwise? If the charger flops as the vents themselves move around, maybe the vent base is not suitable for your car model.

Hi, I just purchased the MagEZ Car Mount Pro and have the following issue where the phone will not charge whilst mounted and plugged into the USB port in the car. I thought it might be the cable and used another cable I had handy, but the issue was still there. I then tested the Mount and original cable by plugging it into a laptop and it began charging. Is there a voltage prerequisite for the correct use of this mount and the voltage coming out of the USB Port of the car?

Hi there, thanks for your feedback. If there is nothing wrong with your car’s USB port, the problem occurred possibly because the output of the USB doesn’t meet the input requirements of the car mounts. The USB port output of some car models is only 5V/1A, or even lower, which may cause abnormal charging.

We suggest you purchase a Car Adapter with an output of 18W or above to ensure that the car can be powered normally. We used to sell the car adapter before, but it is off-sale now. If you need one, we will have our colleague contact you. Thanks.
