I have received both the case for 2 weeks and the stand for a week and I am quite impressed by the stand which I did not plan to get but got it just because I want a faster delivery lol Anyway, let me start my review for each product:
The case:
If you have the previous EZcase, you will find this new version basically the same with a different cutting to fit the new iPad. It is a very well made case, very thin, light weight but sturdy, and compatible with the magic keyboard (which is the reason I got the case). I use iPad for writing a lot, and so I need to remove it from the magic keyboard quite frequently. The case makes it much easier to write because my desk top is made of glass and my iPad slides a lot without a case on. As you can see in the picture below, the case fits the iPad and also my magic keyboard closes well with it. Note that I have a 9H tempered glass screen protector on and the case still fits.
You may have noticed that I have a pencil holder, and that is not from PITAKA. This is sort of a downside of the case for me that it does not include a pencil holder, but getting another `add-onβ is works well. I hope PITAKA will have something similar in the future. I also have the card holder clip, but it does not work that well for me. I need to remove it in order to open my keyboard which is inconvenient, and it is strange to have the clip on with only the iPad without the magic keyboard.
I have noticed after a week of use, fingerprint marks start to show up on the case. I tried to wipe the case but it does not help much. Thanks to the pattern and the color of the case, it is not that noticeable. Also I usually attach the iPad to the keyboard when not writing on it, so those marks do not bother me at all. However, I know some people may care about that.
Overall, I am glad I got the case and I am a very happy and satisfied customer! I highly recommend it to everyone who wants to use their iPad with the Magic keyboard.
The stand:
The stand was easy to set up with the help of the youtube video (link is included in the box). The only difference of my case is that mine does not come with a protective sheet on the PITAKA logo (you need to remove it when you set up the stand according to the video, but mine does not have it).
The stand is slim but sturdy. I love that you can charge other devices on the flat platform. It charges my Samsung Note 10+ without a problem, but it cannot charge my galaxy watch for some reason. It is so easy to put the iPad on and off the stand, and you can rotate and adjust the angle. The iPad holds still when I write on it which is quite surprising! This makes teaching easier!
The stand also works with older version of the case. The box also includes a sticker for you to stick on other device which you have no PITAKA product on. For example, if I want to use it with my Note10+, I can simply stick that on the back of my phone and now I can use it on the stand. I have not tried it yet because I do not need to and I do not want to stick anything on the back of my phone. I am not sure if you can remove and reapply it to other devices though.
I did not expect that I would want the stand, but now that I get it, I am in love with it haha! If you are interested in getting a stand, I highly recommend it! You will not regret ;)
